A popular radio program guest and public speaker at schools and civic organizations across the U.S., today Carol consults for some of the most prominent historic shipwreck search and recovery companies in the world. She learned the essentials of PR and media relations in the 1980's live concert industry in Texas, working for a major concert promotion company who booked and promoted acts such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Toto, Kenny Loggins, Suzanne Vega, Andreas Vollenweider, George Winston and others. She later co-produced and directed two highly acclaimed national tours of sunken shipwreck treasures and artifacts.

A committed participant in the Key West cultural community, Carol handled publicity for the first three Fabulous Fur Ball fundraisers for the Florida Keys SPCA, and from 2006 to 2009 was media liaison for the Anne McKee Artists Fund of the Florida Keys. She provided publicity services for Nutcracker Key West in 2008, 2009, and 2012; for the 29th, 30th and 31st Annual Wesley House Valentine's Day Gala's; annually publicizes the Midsummer's Night Dream & Spectacle fundraising events, is publicist for the Key West International Latin Arts Festival and the Mystery Writers Key West Fest and occasionally works with area small businesses to increase their visibility. Along with friend and colleague Cricket Desmarais, since 2014 Carol has provided ongoing PR and Media Relations services for the Key West Art & Historical Society.
